Excited about this upcoming week! On Friday I will sing the amazing Sirens by Anders Hillborg again!

This time with BBC Symphony Chorus, BBC Symphony Orchestra, conductor James Gaffigan and my dear soprano colleague Ida Falk Winland during the Proms in Albert Hall!
I just arrived in London and will now focus on preparing and rehearsing the music of Sirens until Friday. Hillborg is really on my mind these days! In a couple of weeks I have the honour doing a first performance of his piece Aeterna with the Swedish Radio Symphony, the Swedish Radio Choir and conductor Esa-Pekka Salonen during the Baltic Sea Festival in Berwaldhallen, Stockholm.

But first I will turn into a siren… Ida and I began the transformation the other day during a piano rehearsal with Michael Engström. Once a siren always a siren...
